Welcome to Trinity Lutheran Churchs Vacation Bible Camp 2005 World Church Fiesta

Would you like to see what we have been up to? We have been video taping and taking pictures of everything that has been happening, and we would like to share them with you. There is an on-line photo album. We are still putting this together, so keep checking back for more updates. DVDs are on sale! They will be $5 each. The Chicago Synod and The Lutheran magazine have taken interest in the DVD. About VBC At Vacation Bible Camp kids from 3 years old to 6^th grade learn about the Christian Church all around the world for 5 days. Kids get into groups representing the major areas of the world: The Americas, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia, and Oceania. Each group also has a specific bible verse that they learn. In their groups the kids go to different crafts, each also representing a certain global location: Baker Shop in South America Quilter in Europe The Potter in Asia Instrument Making in Africa A Palestinian School in the Middle East My Video Story in North America Carpentry in Oceania The Gardener in Eastern Europe All the groups participate together in singing and dancing, agape feast, and the potluck dinner at the end of the week. Every night there are also two plays to help teach the kids about the churches around the world.
